Universal City residents who are looking to become foster parents should complete the following, including requesting Health and Fire inspections, as required by their Foster Agency:
1. Complete and submit the application form and fee ($50.00 payable with a check or credit card) at the Development Services Department (online payment option coming soon).
2. Comply with the Health and Fire requirements in preparation for the inspection (Foster Checklist Packet).
3. Schedule the inspection by coordinating with the Health Official (firstname.lastname@example.org or 210-619-0727).
Concerns or questions relating to health safety of Foster Care facilities may be submitted to the City via the Fixit Form. In the event that you would like to speak with someone directly, contact the City Hall at 210-659-0333. As always, if it is an emergency situation call 911.
