There is always a need for individuals who can volunteer a little bit of their time to walk and socialize with our furry friends. Volunteer Orientation is the Third Saturday of every month except December between 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM. To get more information, call Beverly Volle at (210) 289-5220
If you can’t fit another volunteer project into your schedule, the shelter is always in need of items used on a daily basis such as:
Sealed Dog/Cat Food
Cat Litter (preferably Tidy Cat)
Dog/Cat Toys
Collars and Leashes
Dog Biscuits
Cat Beds
Kuranda Beds
Dog Shampoo
Large Rolls of Paper Towels (cat litter clean up)
Bath Towels
Wash Cloths
In addition to these items, donations of cash and/or aluminum cans are always welcome. Supplying litter, food, cleaning items and veterinary care is always an expensive mission. All donations are spent 100% on the care, feeding and housing of the animals. |
