Adult Book Club
The Book Club meets the third Wednesday of the month 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM. The Book Club does not meet for a book discussion in December. The library makes available seven copies of each month’s reading selection. All requests and reserves for these books are on a first come first served basis. Please call the library for more information at 659-7048.

The Book Club is sponsored by the Friends of Universal City Public Library.

Sustainable Living Project

The Sustainable Living Project is part of our Team Up Challenge with the San Antonio Spurs.  We’ll offer weekly classes on Thursdays from 5:30-6:30pm.  Classes are good for children and adults.  Here’s the schedule:

June 5: Natural Household supplies  
June 12: Rain Water Collection  
June 19:  Make your own butter
June 26: Raising Chickens   
July 3:  Creative ways to eat your veggies

Day of Service July 7th 2-4pm

This is for the youth involved in the project.  We’ll be enjoying an afternoon with our Senior Social Day participants and will be making dog toys for our seniors to take home to their pups and to donate to our local animal shelter.
