The Universal City Public Library
has a wide variety of upcoming activities for the community.


Monthly Youth Programs:

Storytime
Every Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.
Join us for engaging stories, imaginative crafts
and educational, fun activities.


NEW PROGRAM ANNOUNCEMENT!!
March 11th from 12 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.
We will be offering a R.E.A.D Intermountain Therapy Animals program!

Oakley, a Golden Retriever from PAWS for Service 
Will be at the library with his owner Christy
PAWS Service Organization, an affiliate of Intermountain Therapy Animals R.E.A.D Program is happy to partner with the U.C. Library in order to provide this program.
Come in and read your favorite story to Oakley
while also practicing, and improving, your reading skills

SPRING BREAK THEATER CAMP INFORMATION
REGISTRATION ENDS MARCH 4TH!!
The camp will run from March 14th - March 18th 12 p.m. - 3p.m. Each Day
Children ages 8 - 18 will learn the basics of staging a live theatrical,
and puppet play.
Other elements related to the theater such as makeup and sound editing
will also be shown.
Our final two spots have been filled. If you still wish to call, it will be for a waiting list. 
Children must be available to attend all five days

Young Adult Book Tasting
February 23rd from 4 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Come explore some of our new Young Adult fiction items in Musical Chairs style
After several rounds of music, we hope everyone leaves

LEGO Creation Station (Date adjusted due to Theater Camp)
March 25th from 12 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.*
Children can let their creative building skills soar
with a new theme each month

Famous Artists Through the Year (Date adjusted due to Theater Camp)
March 28th from 4 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.*
Our theme for this year is Travel the World
Each month we will be offering crafts based on the artists and culture
of a different country
March will be the British Isles and Ireland
Children, teens and families are welcome



Teen Book Club
Our new book club Thrilling Teen Titles got off to a great start! We have four members now, but would love for others to join. Our next meeting is on March 15th at 6 p.m. at 100 Northview. Classics will be the theme for March. A book list and detailed information is available both on Facebook and in the Library section under the Departments tab. Click on Departments, select Library, scroll down to the Programs tab on the left, select Children's Programs on the right.
